•  Pre-flight incoming by checking for color, bleed, size, orientation, and resolution.
•  Confirm that all specifications match work order to ensure all information is correct.
•  Confirm that digital file extensions, fonts, images, formatting, and other details are all valid and compatible with print requirements.
•  Ensure that all files meet company standard guidelines for print via software’s pitstop and Adobe CC.
• Check the properties of each file to make sure they are received in CMYK color mode.
•  Document all incoming file specifications in pre-flight reports for the department referral sources.
•  Setup files for art department use via InDesign, Photoshop, Pitstop, and Illustrator.
•  Periodically send updated proofs to customers for revision to ensure that we are on the projected design path.
•  Confirm art approvals and retrieve sign-offs from selected departments to start preparing for final steps of production.
